This rifle was built from what I refer to as my barrel stub projects. By this I mean that I took a factory T/C Encore barrel and cut it back to a total length of 2 3/4. This short section of barrel is what I refer to as the barrel stub. This stub is then internally reamed, bored and threaded. Now I take a Match Grade stainless steel barrel and thread it and chamber it, thread a muzzle brake onto the barrel and machine everything down to where it all looks like one piece of steel. With the barrel screwed onto the stub and everything indexed as it should be, I then cut the extractor slot, drill and tap for the base and drill and tap for the forend, which rests on two 5/8 diameter stainless steel pillars...

The caliber on this one is what is referred to as the 250 BRADY, which is basically a rimmed 250 Savage Ackley Improved and uses 307 Winchester brass...

The scope is a Weaver Grand Slam 6X-20X-40mm-A/O and the rings are Weaver 4X4...

The stock set is my Custom Encore Thumbhole stock with a 3 wide flat beavertail forend...

The trigger has been adjusted down to 14 oz. and the receiver has been accurized similar to a bolt-action...

The cost for this work varies, depending upon the amout of customization the customer requests...
